well, as everyone knws, we r a japanese based club therefore, we r all Japanese-ish.. somehow tht is... bt we are all still malaysians therefore now is the time to be more Chinese-ish. hehe... oh well, Chinese New Year (the year of the Rat) is round the corner and all of us at JADC wud like to wish all our members

Moving Forward...

Konnichiwa min na san, hope u guyz r in best of health..

Its been a while since the last post s we were busy getting ready all the stuff, preparing the set up of the club. After all those, I can gladly say tht BANZAI!! We are moving forward, FULL STEAM AHEAD!!

To all animation hardcore fans, stay with us, as there are more exciting stuff coming up ahead.. as good stuff needs patience, I hope tht u guyz will bear with us for jus a while more.

For other news:
- there will be an Art Jam in Sunway Pyramid this Saturday 19/01/2008 from 10am - 6pm. All artwork are most welcome.

- Youth'08 will be held in PWTC on the 18/01/2008 to 20/01/2008 from 10am to 10pm. YOUTH '08 was officially launched on the 15th of November 2007 by the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports - YB Dato' Liow Tiong Lai. It's main purpose is to highlight the main aspects of Malaysian youth lifestyle - education, entertainment, fashion, entrepreneurship, technology, health, charity, and career.

The showcase will comprise of back-to-back activities on the main stage, while other exciting events take place in the island booths. The event expects to pull in 50,000 youths from the ages 18 - 30.

The featured activities include a Battle of the Bands, Extreme Street Dance Challenge, Graffiti Workshops & Competitions, Youth Style Awards, Expression Photography Challenge, 1 Vs. 1 Futsal, and many many more.

JADC is moving forward now. We are searching for a base. We’ll try to get a place near a LRT station so that, all of you anime fans could access it easily. Any suggestion where?

All anime fans, you are welcome to submit fan arts to us to be post on to our website (the dot com will be ready soon).

There a still more to be done and the working committees are striving to make it better… Hope you anime fans will support us!!!

Hi, this would be the 2nd post. Firstly, I would like to express words of gratitude to the working committee which put their effort in supporting the club.

Thanks for visiting our blog. We promise to have our official website ready as soon as possible.

As this is a new formed club, we would like to recruit some working members.
We need some dancers, artist, actors and also volunteers.
We are planning to set up a sketch studio and hope to produce our own manga one day!!!!

Working member enjoys the following benefit:

In the Beginning

Hi everyone, this is our 1st official post in our official club blog. Forgive me as this is gonna be a short post. Not much of updates yet, but rest assured, more will be coming your way asap.

The Japanese Animation & Drama Club will officially start in February 2008. For now, we are just carrying out the member recruitment drive and setting everything in order. If everything runs smoothly, we shall have our 1st event at the end of May 2008.

The club is not only restricted to anime but drama as well and we'll do anything that's related to them. Cosplay, animation dancing, artworks, model making, puzzle fixing, anime & drama marathons, visits to other Japanese festivals & events etc...

As for the membership, we have 2 types. Individual Membership and Unofficial Membership.

Individual Membership

comes with an annual fee (will be stated later)
rental of anime, drama, manga, cosplay costumes and yukata far cheaper than the unofficial members
more of other benefits than the unofficial members

Unofficial Membership

these members are registered with us but will not receive the other benefits that individual members receive
unofficial members will only receive updates on our events and other stuff.
stuff rental will be on the normal basis. same basis as a guest.

Guest

guests come and go as they please.
they are not bound to us under any terms and conditions.
the stuff that they rent are on the normal basis. same basis as the unofficial members.
guests will not receive any updates unless registered with the club.

1 last thing before I wrap this up, to all those anime fans that loves artworks, computer animation etc, we would very much like to hear from u. :p
